There is hardly any person who never
fell ill or if ever fell in never took any medicine. Disease is
‘caused by unbalanced cause and effect syndrome’ which means there
must be some cause to trigger off an effect. Normally various
factors are held responsible for having caused an abnormal and
diseased state of the body which is governed & controlled by mind.
An old adage offering that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body,
i.e. if the body is ill mind can never remain aloof and unaffected
from repercussions thereof. In order to keep the mind in god humor
body must be kept healthy and in sound condition.
Following
Factors are said to Cause Illness
1. Due to sudden shock, grief and loss.
2. Dietary indiscretions or deviation from normal food-eating
pattern.
3. Sudden change in weather conditions.
4. Polluted air and water.
5. Infections wrought by germs, bacteria or onset of epidemics.
6. Lack or total absence of physical movement or exercise.
7. Over-eating or remaining on fast for a prolonged duration.
8. Constipation.
9. Lack of roughage, green vegetables, vitamins, minerals etc in
food.
10. Personal unhygienic conditions.
11. Taking medicines frequently and be a drug dependent.
12. Excessive use of tea, coffee, tobacco, alcohol eggs, meats,
spices, rich and fatty food or starchy diet.
13. Taking only solids with little bit or no quantity of water (and
that also impure & infected water)
14. Keeping awake at night but sleeping during day.
15. Too much and frequent indulgence in sexual acts, debauchery,
extra-marital relationships, lascivious thoughts and always dwelling
upon sex related matters.
16. Taking stale, putrid and rotten food.
17. Unnecessary use of tonics or booster drugs or aphoristic drugs.
18. Living in damp, dingy, dark and unclean quarters.
19. Ill posture related problems.
20. Lack of phagocytes and impaired autoimmune system of body.
Above mentioned are some of the causes which are considered
responsible to adversely affect the body, thereby causing diseased
conditions in the body. Best way is to remove the basic cause(s) by
natural means and corrective measures. Remember the dictum that
‘Prevention is better than cure’. It may be pointed out that the
patient is often aware ho he fell ill or what factors were
responsible for causing abnormal conditions. Hence he must be on the
guard against all such eventualities as are considered to cause
onset of some physical. |
