FASTING PROCESS

In common parlance the world ‘Fasting’ stands for going without food or abstain from all or some kinds of food. In fact the concept and practice of fasting had both health and religious considerations. Those who ate too much, they could ward off ill-effects thereof by keeping themselves on fast, those who wanted to neutralize/increase/decrease effect or consumption of some dietary element, they also opted for fasting. So to say, fasting helped a person in keeping himself fit, healthy and regulated in performing his routine chores. In Hindus religious thinking, fasting on a particular day means abstention from one dietary element-either salt, sugar, protein, fats carbohydrates or vegetables etc.

But in urine therapy, the position is different. Instead of abstaining from one or two food items, you have to purely live in urine alone or on urine and water both. It is a bit difficult practice and calls for a strong and determined will to undergo such a type of fasting.

In Chronic and Critical case resorting to fast becomes a necessity. Duration and mode of Fasting must keep in view

Following Guidelines would hopefully, help an aspirant to successfully complete a fasting process
Entire quantity of urine discharged in 2 hours is to be consumed by the patient.

Number of fasting days and duration of fast will depend on condition of patient.

Those, who do not wish to extend fast during night, must enhance intake of urine during day itself and thus their fast would be for longer duration. In this condition the urine collected during night should be utilized for massaging purposes.

During fast one can take pure, filtered water only but urine intake must be postponed during duration of water drinking.

During the fast, massage of body must be continued otherwise fasting will have no or very negligible effect.

If no urine is left for massaging. Some healthy person’s urine may be used for the purpose.
Don’t be unduly anxious if heart beat accelerates and also there is some restlessness because this is a natural sequel to fasting process.

You won’t feel weak or run-down by fasting on urine. The reason is that all the vital ingredients are retained in the urine and when you drink it, then again, assist in providing strength & nourishment to body. The more the intake of urine, the more the nutrition, he will have. There may be occasional nauseating tendency or in some cases, there may be even vomiting but by constant patience, practice and strong will, all such abnormalities would disappear.

Urine helps to root out, remove and expel all the foreign deposits from stomach, intestines, lungs, urinary tract and other respiratory organs so, if one has motions, vomiting etc, there is cause for anxiety rather one should infer that all the cleansing process has been started by urine and thus all foreign matters would be expelled through various orifices of the body.

Do not give up fasting process, take some corrective medicine as any uncalled for act which may interfere with excretory process of the urine therapy. Remain a patient onlooker. Do not lose your calm or patience.

If, however, you lose faith in the therapy, or you are scared of the (unusual) healing process, it would be better to totally give up the procedure. Afterwards, you may do whatever you like But if you start first in right earnest but in between, you get suspicious and discouraged and give up the experiment and due to indiscretion, you suddenly start any forbidden thing. When you are slightly better, you resume the process-all such acts will spell disaster for you. Such a vasclillatory approach would result in far more damage & harm than any good or benefit.

When you wish to give up fasting course, it should be normally ended up with juice of orange. On the following day give juice of juicy fruits in greater quantity in afternoon. Take papaya in the evening. All the fruit juices should be taken in moderate quantity and never stomachful. Repeat juices at night also. On the third day give low salt soup of moong (kidney-bean).
In rare case the face may swell due to absence of salt and then sudden intake thereof but it will disappear soon.

One has to be more cautious when fasting extends beyond 10-15 days. You have to remain extra cautious, especially with regard to dietary requirements, if fasting extends beyond two weeks. Self control, dietary restrictions are pre-requisites for successful completion of fasting process.
Try to abstain from sexual indulgence during the course of fasting.

Impatient, causal and lopsided approach is not desirable. When a needed is strong will, determination and tenacity and clinging fast to the assured objective. A half done act does not deserve any benefit. Hence faith is the basis for all treatments.
